Dana's Father, Paul, and Step-Mother, Janet, visited for a few days before Christmas. We had a wonderful time celebrating an early Christmas and visiting an aquarium in Galveston. There's still quite a bit of damage in Galveston from Hurricane Ike, but things are slowly getting back to normal. Kaden recently learned how to say "fish" which came in handy at the aquarium as he identified fish after fish...
Can't quite reach the starfish... Kaden's not so sure about this shark bait thing...
We spent Sunday evening with two of our good friends, Heather and Tomas. They gave Kaden a full traveling set equiped with a space-themed suit case, backpack, and fanny pack. He absolutely loved it! He insisted on wearing the backpack and fanny pack and dragged the suitcase around the house. Too cute!
Heather and Kaden spent some quality time together!
This weekend we went with our friends, Dina and Steve, to a park with an amazing Christmas light display. They had the coolest disposable glasses that made the lights look like stars, snowflakes, or snowmen. Kaden and Max, the two babies of the bunch, were mesmerized by the lights and other kids.
The day after we returned from our Thanksgiving trip, we started decorating for Christmas. Lukas and Mitchel did most of the work, but Kaden chipped in as well. Thank goodness for plastic ornaments!
Couldn't resist this photo opportunity! Kaden wasn't too sure who this man in the strange white suit was - it's his Dad! Although he was thrilled with the huge training pool near his Dad, he just wasn't warming up to the space suit idea...
We had a wonderful Thanksgiving break and were able to visit Kieth's family and Dana's Father. Everyone managed to collect all 10 grandkids in Kieth's family for a group photo. Getting them to all look at the camera was a different story...
When we visited Dana's Father, we spent some time at a park which was a big hit for Kaden!
