What a Pumpkin!!

Halloween 2009

Happy Halloween!!!

Well, Kaden started his Halloween celebrations as Superman ("Duperman" according to him) this year. Kaden wore the costume to daycare on Friday and had a great time trick-or-treating with his classmates.

Halloween night Kaden decided he didn't want to be Superman, so we reverted to last year's Frog costume. After a family bar-b-que with his Aunt Kathy, Uncle Rich, Cousin Jessie, Grandma, Grandpa, Nana and Papa, he went trick-or-treating with his friend Max (a.k.a Tigger) and had a blast.

Brothers - Spending Time Together...

We celebrated Christmas with Mitchel and Lukas after they returned from Iowa. Kaden was so excited to see them!

Christmas...

The shirt says it all!

We spent Christmas day with Dana's Mother and Step-Father. In the morning we opened gifts, and then we had a nice dinner with family and friends. As you might expect, Kaden was a big fan of opening gifts and was thrilled with the idea of ripping wrapping paper!
Kaden with his stuffed dog that barks jingle bells. Oh joy...

A little R&R after all the presents were opened!

One of Kaden's favorite gifts was a Lightening McQueen tricycle. He can't reach the pedals, but it's fully equiped with a parent height pole to push him around. In the photo, you see a stuffed duck that he's become very fond of lately (he drags it everywhere!). His older cousin who attends Hopkins gave it to him last year.

Happy Holidays!

The Aquarium...

Dana's Father, Paul, and Step-Mother, Janet, visited for a few days before Christmas. We had a wonderful time celebrating an early Christmas and visiting an aquarium in Galveston. There's still quite a bit of damage in Galveston from Hurricane Ike, but things are slowly getting back to normal. Kaden recently learned how to say "fish" which came in handy at the aquarium as he identified fish after fish...

Can't quite reach the starfish...
Kaden's not so sure about this shark bait thing...
